De Belgische locomotieffabriek Moës heeft vooral in België locomotieven verkocht. Jarenlang was geen enkel exemplaar bekend in Nederland. Berkhof Bemaling uit Ederveen had deze locomotief gekocht samen met een grote partij materialen. Gezien de spoorwijdte van 700 mm is het niet onmogelijk dat deze loc ooit dienst heeft gedaan in Nederland. Het fabrieksnummer ontbreekt.
The Belgian locomotive factory Moës sold their locomotives mainly in Belgium. Many years there were no known Moës locs in The Netherlands. Berkhof Bemaling (Ederveen) had bought the locomotive as part of a large lump of materials. Given the width of 700 mm, it is not impossible that this loc has indeed ever served in The Netherlands. The loc was determined as a 1AL. Further factory details remain unknown.
