In 1987 konden twee locomotieven van het merk Ruston & Hornsby aan de collectie toegevoegd. De locs waren afkomstig van de Hollands-Duitse Steenfabriek te Spijk, waar ze al sinds circa 1975 niet meer gebruikt werden. Deze locomotief, die bij de steenfabriek met dienstnummer 1 reed, was de beste van de twee.
In 1987 two Ruston & Hornsby locomotives were added to the NSS collection. These locs come from the Hollands-Duitse Steenfabriek (brick factory) in Spijk, where the had not been used since 1975. This locomotive, which carried number 1 at the site, was the best of the two.
